About

I'm a philosopher who works in the area of phenomenology and the cognitive sciences (and I edit a journal by that name).  My research focuses on embodied cognition, with special emphasis on agency and social cognition. I'm also interested in concepts of the self and personal identity, psychopathology, and the philosophy of time.

I have secondary positions at the University of Hertfordshire and the Institute for Simulation and Training at the University of Central Florida.  I'm Honorary Professor of Philosophy at the University of Copenhagen.
